VPN Keeps Disconnecting then Reconnects in a Continuous Cycle

Applications may appear to be laggy or it gives messages you are not signed in or connected.

  • Verify the Barracuda VPN client on your taskbar. If you see the icon going from green to blue, then back to green, this means the VPN is reestablishing connection.

Things to try before creating an incident.

  • Reboot the computer and see if this fixes the issue
  • Reboot your router if you are working from home

If the above steps do not work, then it's most likely a problem with the VPN client or VPN server.


Please create an incident with the service desk for further troubleshooting. We will determine if it's the server or if a new VPN profile will need to be created.
